This is where most of the Sanibel Beach Treasures are kept. After filling nearly every available location in the house with seashells, they are now put in a large wicker trunk. You could say, these shells are put in the Wicker Bank of Sanibel for saving. They are then withdrawn a few at a time, like two of each kind, bagged and given away. Not only is it fun to do, it seems to make others happy, and who knows, maybe it will bring good shelling karma my way. :-)

That's a great idea. Now if I just had room for a wicker chest! LOL
If I lived on Sanibel I'd probably have to have that too! I collect shells mostly from Little Gasparilla Island, Boca Grande and Englewood beaches.
Glad I found your blog;-}
My escape place...love it. Love the treasure chest full of treasures...:) I am just learning a little bit about shells...by reading these blogs. Do you ever find anything with that oyster pearly inside? I have one I found years ago it is a treasure. I like those Angels wings also...beautiful. there was a time I also collected sand from the places I went. I still have all the sand and shells from my very few travels..oh I do hope to get to Sanibel one day...
I would love to just sit with you and go through this treasure trove...of course after we treasure hunt on the beach....;)
